Description |
This is an original handpainted cel of Kimba the White Lion. The actual production it was used in is unknown, but it is completely on-model for the 1960s version of Kimba. This is most definitely NOT from the 1989 TV series nor from the 1997 movie, which both used different character models.
Please note: There has been some damage to the line along the back of Kimba's shorts. Click the picture above for a close-up view.
This original cel has been trimmed by its previous owner. The image of Kimba measures approximately 4-7/8 inches high, including the shadow, by 3.7 inches wide and has been mounted and matted to an outside dimension of 8 by 10 inches, ready to insert into any standard-size 8x10 frame.
Only archival quality materials were used in mounting and matting this rare item. The cel has been suspended above the background to minimize the possibility of sticking.
