Description
This is an original, hand-painted production cel of Kimba the White Lion. It was used in the episode titled, "The Wind in the Desert". The cel is offered with the original hand-painted background for the scene. Click the picture below for a larger view and photos of the cel and background separately.

Please note: This cel has minor dust and fingerprints acquired over its 44 years. It is not stuck to the background. There is no missing paint from the cel, and the cel is not wrinkled. The background has some wear to the edges. The cel has been taped to the background at some point in its history to hold the two in alignment. The tape is only on the top edge.
This original cel and background are untrimmed. The cel bears the production company's markings "15-13" and "Abx". The background is marked "J3-2" and "15-13". There is no missing paint from the cel image or from the background. The image of Kimba measures approximately 5 inches high by 3.25 inches wide, ears to tail, not including the shadow. The cel and background are offered unmounted.
